When I was trained on how to use the slicer at the camp I worked at,
I had to take a class and then sign an insurance form before they 
would let me use the machine.  It wasn't a waiver, just a form 
declaring I was over 18 and old enough to use a slicer.  Gotta love
liability insurance.  

I forget exactly how I gashed up my hand, but they fired me for it, but
also gave me my whole summer's pay as well.
