Bittman, one of my favorites from among the latest gaggle of food 
writers, is apparently also involved in a new PBS series to begin 
airing in the Spring of 2005, entitled, "How To Cook Everything".

I'm also a minimalist at heart (sorry, Bright Hills Cooks Guild 
folks, for speaking sacrilege) ;-).
