[Sca-cooks] Indian cookbooks

This is one of these areas where one can browse
in a library or large bookstore and find a number of volumes
that are appealing. Indian cuisine is a huge subject of course
and varies a great deal depending upon time and place.
Some 400 books are listed on Amazon.com.
Lord Krishna's Cuisine: The Art of Indian Vegetarian Cooking
is a huge 800 page award winning work by Yamuna Devi. I also like
Madhur Jaffrey who has written a number of volumes. Sahni is good.
