It's a South African fish paste made of mackerel, Cape herring, pilchards, anchovies, salt, sugar, thickening, smoke essence, and spices, with soya protein and ascorbic acid. The brand is called "Peck's Anchovette — fish paste vissmeer."

After it's opened, it has to be used up within 10 days. I haven't opened it yet!
