Well, yes. *IF* they believe you. They might just say "No deal. We 
weren't asking for fiction. We wanted actual events."

There are multiple instances related in the Florilegium 
child-stories-msg file of teachers not believing the SCA kids' stories, 
and sometimes the SCA Royalty showing up in their child's classroom in 
full regalia with staff to clear their child's name. :-)

If you do this, I'd love to see a copy of your journal.
