I believe that the person who has sent several long replies to the list is
the same person who was having difficulty with his Outlook because it was
double clicking on the "Reply" button which means that it was doing "Reply"
and then "Send" before the reply could be written, much less edited.

Since this is a common difficulty, especially with later versions of
Outlook, I could offer another recommendation for a "work around" that may
help. This information only applies to Outlook 2003, earlier versions of
Outlook and other email programs have different processes to do this. If
you're having problems with you version of Outlook and it isn't 2003, drop
me an email off list and I'll help you figure out how to fix this on your
machine.

On Outlook 2003, you can set your machine to wait to send messages after you
press send (called "delay". This has an added benefit that you can go back
and edit things after you've pressed send if you think of something after
sending. You can set up this delay for from 1-120 minutes. Here's how you do
it:
*	On the Tools menu, click Rules and Alerts, and then click New Rule.
*	Select Start from a blank rule.
*	In the Step 1: Select when messages should be checked box, click
"Check messages after sending", and then click Next.
*	In the Step 1: Select condition(s) list, select any options you
want, and then click Next.
*	If you do not select any check boxes, a confirmation dialog box
appears to tell you that this will apply to all messages which you send.
Clicking Yes applies this rule to all messages you send.
*	In the Step 1: Select action(s) list, select "defer delivery by a
number of minutes". Delivery can be delayed up to two hours.
*	In the Step 2: Edit the rule description (click on an underlined
value) box, click the underlined phrase a number of and enter the number of
minutes you want messages held before sending.
*	Click OK, and then click Next.
*	Select any exceptions that you want to exclude from this rule, and
then click Next.
*	In the Step 1: Specify a name for this rule box, type a name for the
rule.
*	Click Finish.

If, after you've finished writing messages for the day you wish to go ahead
and send the messages which are in your outbox manually (before the delay
time has worn off), you can do so manually by going into your Outbox, right
click on the message and select "Options", then uncheck the box which says
"Do not deliver before:" and say "Yes" to the prompt "Do You Want to Save
Changes" and the email will transmit immediately (or the next time your
Outlook is set to "Send".)

I hope that information is helpful.
