My darling other half decided to torture me this lunchtime with some filk (of 
which she's painfully fond of). Normally it's cutting satire but today I 
suspect hunger has been the main motivator...

Why do servers suddenly apppear
Every time food is near?
It's not absurd, they want to serve

Why does sauce pour before my eyes
Every time they walk by?
Haven't you heard? They want to serve

On the day the  event was called
The cooks all got together
And decided to create a feast or two.
So they sprinkled spice in your soup so cold
And breadcrumbs in your sauce of glue!

That is why all the stains on your gown
Some are green, some are brown,
It's obscene - they serve green
Roast to you!

Ahhhh! Roast with glue!
Ughhhh! Soup or stew?
Errrr! Boiled shoe!
