I don't happen to have my copy of Anthimus handy, but I think you will find 
that there are several manuscript copies from within the 650-1650 period. 
Since the rules call for "publication between" rather than "written between" 
and as for most of that period copying the original or another copy 
constitutes publication, then Anthimus would be acceptable according to the 
rules as stated.
