[Sca-cooks] spring roles, sushi--history???

Greetings unto the list!!

My husband has been finding some vague sites, but
nothing that really gives recipes or even reliable
documentation of when sushi came to be and also spring
roles which have evolved into lumpia.  He has found a
site that talks about that they (spring roles) have
been around about a thousand years in China--really
helpful huh?
