[Sca-cooks] Modern French or Jerriais?

Dear Bear, 
the French have difficulty understanding Breton, so they'd be completely lost in Jerriais. 
I use modern French, perforce. 
Besides, althouge Jerriais is "making a comeback", and is once more taught in Island Schools as a vital part of our Island's Heritage, - from a population of some 90,000, only 8% can now speak Jerriais - [though this is now double the lowest-level ever recorded in States Of Jersey Education Dept. surveys, - and slowly rising].
As for my typo of "Middle" for "Modern", see my comment to Laura, on this List - my excuse is that I may be having a "senior moment" - after all "I'm" 554-years old.
