...Is one of the great treats of a Bright Hills feast as a palate cleanser.
It is, I believe, Baroness Cordelia fitzRobert of York's recipe, which I
currently do not have, but will see if I can get for your files.

We make 2 kinds (we make these a feast precook's) - almond, and mint
(coloured pale green with a little food colouring) and sometimes another
flavour.

They go over well - we can't make enough to satisfy the feasters.

As to why I will NEVER EVER do a fundraiser lunch again - EVERYBODY in the
guild (NOT the Cook's Guild - let us be clear on that.) wanted to help with
the precook. EVERYBODY in the guild wanted to do the fundraiser. THREE of
us (already up to our eyeballs with other duties (troll, marshalling, etc.)
did all the work the day of. Let's just leave it at this statement: If I
am EVER silly enough to think about something like this, I will simply put a
bid in to be Head Cook. It will be TONS easier.

And since 2002 I have made over 1,000 pasties for 3 SCA events. I don't
want to see (or MAKE) another pasties til at LEAST 2010.
