Take Route 66 west, and when you get to Ontario California, follow the signs that
say GWW -> or <- GWW... :-D

Great Western War is a great war held in a very large park with lots and lots of
lakes. We get the back part of the park to ourselves. It is lovely, rural [okay for
LA that is] and a very fun war. It is a relatively new war, compared to others, but
we usually get between 3,000 to 3,500 people and there is still room for more.
Here is the website:

They are talking about this year's war, GWW X, but sometime next April, they will
change it to GWW XI.

The war is held on Columbus Day weekend and the weather here is usually perfect then.
Warm days [but not too warm], cool nights, lots of blue skies.

Oh, and the park has quite a few stone privvies and showers.

I hope that you will make it. It is a fun war for every interest. And I was just saying
to Hroar not an hour ago, that I hoped I would get to meet you someday.

Huette
