Well, there's the rub, isn't it? Manufacturers and distributors of
these (often) snake oils don't want their product claims tested
scientifically.
If they *really* improved the health of the 'patient', the companies
would be happy to have their products certified.
Caveat Emptor...and "there's a sucker born every second" also comes to
mind :)
