Karo syrup (white) is a corn syrup of 15-20% dextrose, a form of glucose,
with high fructose corn syrup, salt and vanilla added to it.. Dark Karo
syrup is corn syrup that has had a light molasses known as refiner's syrup
added to it along with salt, caramel coloring, caramel flavoring and sodium
benzoate.
Not exactly cane or sorghum molasses, but thinner and more consistent across
batches.
