[Sca-cooks] Candied Chesnuts (was 12th Night Baskets)

The chesnuts are roasted in the oven, shelled and the skins removed, then cooked in syrup. They are also stored in their syrup, making for a sticky sweet - Definately a "wet" sucket!
 
Oh, and a properly roasted chesnut is definately NOT meally! ;)
