It all depends on how you define "period", doesn't it?

Period for late 16th century Spain?  Quite possibly.

Period for early 16th century Poland?  Doubtful.

Period for mid 15th century Europe?  Nope.


 From my viewpoint, the medieval period ends at 1500 A.D., but I know  
someone with a political science background that insists that the  
medieval period ended in 1918.
