i have always enjoyed doing a big new year's day feastie
for the two of us, even when partying the night before.

i had planned a pork roast, but the inertia of the new
fallen and thankfully melting snow (yes, in albuquerque,
friday night a foot was measured overnight... the most on
record) have put me off my prep so the pork rib roast
shall nap in the freezer for another day.

probably just do some chili tomorrow... to red or to
green, that is the question. ;) or pork fried rice. what
good is tradition if you can't run against it?

safe travels to all out to celebrate tonight and warmth of
the hearth to those staying at home. happy new year to
some of my favorite buds.

cailte
