The producers of Iron Chef seem to have a new project:  "Senjo no 
Restaurant" meaning something like, Battlefield Restaurant.  Like Iron 
Chef, cooks compete against each other.  Unlike Iron Chef, the winner is 
determined by vote of paying customers.  The price is steep but anybody 
can be a judge if he ponies up a couple thousand yen.  Good description

Hmmm, another possibly "modern" way to seduce unwary diners into our way 
of cooking?  Bwahahaha.
