Caipirinha is a special drink.. It was made by the African slaves imported to Brazil in
the 16th century. It's made with "cachaca", a very strong alcohol made of raw
fermented canesugar. And lime juice and canesugar.
You don't get the sweetness of the caipirinha with other alcohol.

Criminy!

Yer talking Grog. The drink of sailors and pirates since
the 1740's.
Just call it that and be done with it!

Fancy name for a working class drink...

-----------------------------------------------------
Upon the hempen tackle ship-boys climbing;
Hear the shrill whistle which doth order give
To sounds confused; behold the threaden sails,
Borne with the invisible and creeping wind,
Draw the huge bottoms through the furrow'd sea,
Breasting the lofty surge: O, do but think
You stand upon the ravage and behold
A city on the inconstant billows dancing;
For so appears this fleet majestical,
Holding due course to Harfleur.
