[Sca-cooks] kitchen accidents

worked in a ktchen at a fast food (well, a bit hiigher up that that)
chain......
accidents *happen* but can be minimized by good training and care.

when they pull the vents, grill bits, and other HOT parts to be cleaned at
the end of shift you learn to avoid the metal cart they are on FAST....

also newbies tend to find out the hard way that food slicers, lemon slicers,
and etc are sharp.

even after being warned i cut off three finger nails (and luckily just
nails) trying to properly clean the blade grill from a tomato dicer....

hot things, sharp things, crowding, and working too fast tend to be a recipe
for disaster.....
