In case anyone is interested, I have, after many interesting airline
adventures, arrived safely in An Tir.

I think Paul was as excited that I arrived as I was- I arrived, and
there was my very own copy of "Soup for the Qan" in the middle of my
bed, soon to be autographed by both him and Gene.

And, good gentles, since Paul has finally received his copies, Devra
will (if she contacts me shortly) have several available for sale, all
of which will be autographed by both Paul and Gene. Only delay at the
moment is I'm negotiating price, on the behalf of interested SCAdians
;-) Will let you know, or Devra will, as soon as I do.

I can tell he intends to starve me. I arrived too late to be taken out
to dinner as he planned, so the next day he took me to a lovely Hong
Kong/Cantonese Restaurant, specializing in seafood, where we got a
meal that consisted of:

Crisp fish, fish with Chinese red ferment as a covering
Doufu and fresh seafood soup
Pork in orange sauce
Prawns in garlic and hot peppers
Sauteed duck's feet and mushrooms
Steamed chicken with onions and other spices
A sweet Dungeness crab (with roe) with various spices
Rice, of course
Tsingtao beer (two)

I can tell I'm to be starved to death...

Oh, woe is me....
