Oh, let me think...
Roast pork the texture of shoe leather with an apple
sauce/jelly/something the consistency of partly-cooled taffy.
(What I think happened: The meat was done too early, so the cook sliced
it and put it in the oven to "keep warm". She didn't test her recipes
and didn't realise that jellies don't thicken until they cool.)
This is a rare example. Southron Gaard eats _extremely_ well, for the
most part.
