Nope. If they'd have scheduled it later in the season (as in: after school
is out), I might have considered it. But it's way up in the mountains
(read: bloody cold in early May) and I don't want to go freeze to death by
myself, and my sweetie is still in school (both work-wise and in his grad
program) and can't take time off. Besides, I want to save my pennies to go
to the big event over Memorial Day.
And I'm shackled to the sewing machine anyway- the Pavilion Project That
Would Not Die is still not finished, and it has to be done by the 12th.

That's because it isn't the SCA-wide 4YC. As I understand, the BOD got
several bids, none of which were what they were looking for, so they didn't
award one. Some folks here decided to throw a party anyway. S'ok I guess,
though I do think that the date thing is going to be a problem.
But hey- if I had my 'druthers', I wouldn't be there anyway- I'd be in
Kalamazoo!
