Last nasty head cold I had, my doc recommeneded some herbal stuff called
Sinutone that was basically a mixture of horseradish and other yummy
things in a highly concentrated alcohol based tincture that you squirted
on the back of you tongue.

Worked really well. She was amazed that I could just take it straight
with no fruit juice chaser :).

See, I keep trying to use wasabi as a sinus congestion treatment; but
you
need more every ten minutes or so...
Mind you that is the standard oral application, perhaps if I used a
nasal
application...?
