In case any of you wonder why I combine smithing and cookery, the following
question came up on my smithing List:

> .....How do you arc weld gravy?
>

Big Fat Rod with a roux coating, how else? The high-cholesterol ones work
best. Mixes as it burns out and fills the crack in the gravy. Using a little
boullion (sp?) flux helps preserve the integrity of the parent material.

Try to work downhand. Vertical is tough as the puddle runs real bad and
overhead is right out.

What I want to know is: How did you crack the gravy in the first place?

Don't like getting old? Beats the Hel out of the alternative.

The purpose of life is not to arrive at the grave, a beautiful corpse,
pretty and well-preserved, but to slide in sideways, thoroughly used up,
totally worn out, proclaiming, "Wow! What a ride!"
