I finally took the advice today after sending a wordy message to you 
guys. Shame on me. The article hits the nail on the head and I hang mine 
for being so tardy in my homework. Stefan - Florilegium, Mark Harris is 
an ace in the hole as usual. Don't  think I need to gab on this subject 
anymore! Except that I thank you Bear for all your efforts in supplying 
prices of spices in the Middle Ages and anymore info on that would be 
vastly appreciated.
