While searching for "Epulario" at www.books.google.com, I came across this book:

A quick look at the index shows: dishes of butter, cakes, cheese, chickens, cherries, cinnamon, cloves, conserves, cucumers, damsons, spices, ... not to speak of jewels, embroidery and such things.
