The Epulario's recipes are mostly taken from Platina (who got them from Martino but gives him the credit) and at least one of them is translated WRONG!!!!! Take at look at the ginger cake - Platina says an once of ginger and the Epularios says a pound. Otherwise they are practically word for word.
