Ah, yes, now I get it. And it sure does seem that once something becomes 
"popular", whether it is a hobby or not, it can become very expensive. 
The good news is that it doesn't HAVE to, you just have to learn to find 
the best bargains, like Arrowroot for $7 per pound - and good arrowroot 
- none of that corn starchy crap.

I guess I too would prefer to have a better impact on cooking other then 
forcing prices higher. I would hope that I can share some techniques and 
recipes that people can actually AFFORD to cook. :)
