Damn that's strange... the Sugar Plate we made tasted like uhmmm let's 
see.... Lemon, Strawberry, Lime, and I think Mint.  Maybe you just 
haven't had well flavored sugar plate as I got numerous compliments on 
mine.  And yes I mean the poured kind and the molded kind.

And NO I can't document it.... Cause I took the recipes from this list 
and then added extracts to flavor them.  But most of the flavors I used 
were period and could have been used if they were being creative.  But I 
am fairly confident there is No period recipe that says grab bottle of 
extract and flavor....
