Hello!

Yes, that's a Christmas card, to Lidia; I can't make out the rest of the 
handwriting at a cursory glance.  The card itself dates probably from the 
early 1900's, possibly *slightly* earlier; one of the letters used, and how 
it's used, was stricken from the Cyrillic Alphabet in about 1912 or 
thereabouts.  That's the short answer...

The long answer is:  The Russian style is to 'congratulate' you on the 
occurrence of whatever holiday; in Russian, it's "I congratulate you with 
(insert holiday)."   This is generally shortened to "with + (insert 
holiday)," leaving the congratulations implied.  In Russian, Christmas is 
literally the "Birth of Christ," transliterated "Rozhdestvo Khristosa."  
This one uses an older, more "church-style" word for Christ, and (using the 
"with X" formula above) puts the whole thing into instrumental case (as is 
proper for Russian): "S Rozhdestvom Khristovym."  The written bit is, 
literally, "I congratulate you, Lidia (in memory of the albumist) 
-[signed]".  Lidia is in a familiar form, so I'd guess it's from a parent, 
grandparent, or otherwise close family member.
