The Magyars were nomads who moved from the area around the Urals in the 5th
Century to the Northern Caucaus. They were forced into Romania by the
Pechenegs (a Turkic people) in the 9th Century where they defeated the
Bulgars but were forced into Hungary. There advance into the rest of
Central Europe was checked in the 10th Century.

The Seljuk Turks, forerunners to the Ottomans, didn't get started on their
expansion until the 11th Century (IIRC). The Ottomans were 13th Century and
didn't impinge much on Europe until the 14th Century with the conquests in
the Balkans.

I would say chances for a pre-16th Century cultural transfer were limited.
