[Sca-cooks] so...what do YOU eat?

We do the same. The only non-period meal is
breakfast, usually a cup of tea and a bowl of oatmeal
for me and a couple of breakfast bars and juice for
Timothy. Lunch is typically a ploughman style with
bread, cheese, some type of meat like parma ham or a
pate, and pickle, usually accompanied by water,
lemonade, or sekajabin. We always have snacks on-hand
like fine cakes, nuts, and dried fruit. Dinner is
more complex with meat, veg, and a starch of some
kind. If I'm really prepared we even have a dessert
of some kind.

This year at Pennsic we didn't cook much at all,
partly due to the weather and partly due to the
scramble to get ready for the event (sewing pavilion,
which didn't get done and will make it's debut later
this season). We ate food court food for a change -
which, while easier, wasn't nearly as tasty as our own
cooking would have been.
