Saw a note in the Free Press that this should be celebrated tomorrow so
here's the warning
in case you've haven't noticed the displays in the grocery store aisles...
Searching in the Google news posts, it appears that some places are
celebrating
Saturday, so maybe one can celebrate on both days...

S'more, please: Use Friday as an excuse to indulge in gooey marshmallows
and chocolate

Now's the perfect time to indulge because Friday is "National S'Mores
Day," which was created by the Hershey Co. to celebrate the 80th
birthday of the decadent treat that first appeared in the Girl Scout
handbook of 1927.

or look for "The Hershey Pennsylvania Cookbook: Fun Treats and Trivia
From the Chocolate Capital of the World" by Marilyn Odesser-Torpey
(Globe Pequot Press, 2007). The cookbook is available at Barnes & Noble
or Borders Books or www.globepequot.com <http://www.globepequot.com>.
