Although the link refers to Chinese watermelon art, these are actually the 
work of a Japanese artist named Takashi Itoh.  He's done everything from 
flowers to the Sydney Opera House to Michelangelo's Pieta.  Work #43 on his 
website is a portrait of Auguste Escoffier.
