Clear today, winter tomorrow.

As storms go, this last one was not particularly nasty for central Oklahoma. 
Temperatures were around 30 and the streets didn't turn to solid ice.  In 
terms of damage to trees and powerlines, it was the worst I've seen in 35 
years.  It bent some 10 year old trees (20 ft. tall) in my yard until the 
top branches touched the ground.  Three taller trees in the front yard 
snapped off 20 feet above the ground and nearly hit the car.

I expect I'll spend next Spring clearing out debris from this Winter.
