[Sca-cooks] Is it just me, or when did they start doing this???

Well, I really don't have a recipe per se...the lady I got it from is a
brewer (amongst many other things) in the Midrealm...IIRC, she's a Duchess.
But I took pot marigold, rose petals, lavender and elderflower (all dried)
and put them in a cloth bag.  I suspended this in a gallon jar of Scotch
whiskey for about 4 months.  Then I pulled the bags out...the color was
gorgeous as the rose petals had turned the Scotch an even darker reddish
brown.  I added a simple syrup then let it age for about 2 years.  Came out
pretty well, even if I do say so myself.
