[Sca-cooks] Is it just me, or when did they start doing this???

Some do, some don't.  It wouldn't be something I'd offer to the purists, for sure.  Me, I think it tastes like engine cleaner, no matter how old, how peaty, etc. it is.  ::shudders::

  Well, just keep in mind that if they REALLY like Scotch (as I do),
  they may very well not like having the flavor adulterated. I might
  taste such a concoction, but I'd prefer a good single malt, any day of
  the week.
