[Sca-cooks] philosophical salad question

I wouldn't. Also, there's enough room for creativity in salads to make it
interesting (which oil? Which vinegar? What greens or vegetables,
whatever!). 

But mostly because they please the veggie crowd and are fairly inexpensive,
anyway.
