biting wind and cold if clear yesterday in albuquerque...
roasted a 10 lb turkey - gives us something to eat on all
week. trust me, first week that the university starts, i
am TOO tired to think much about cooking when i get home.
made oatmeal cookies for Estrella Baronial Green Chili
Stew (hosted every year by al-barran). some cookies with
choc chips and others with a medley of dried cranberries,
cherries and currants (okay... biddy-biddy raisins but the
box said currents).
made bread
i think i like to bake most when it is cold. using the
oven for food and heating the house at the same time.
guess it's that handed down depression mentality.
