[Sca-cooks] Cold weather foods

biting wind and cold if clear yesterday in albuquerque...

roasted a 10 lb turkey - gives us something to eat on all 
week.  trust me, first week that the university starts, i 
am TOO tired to think much about cooking when i get home.

made oatmeal cookies for Estrella Baronial Green Chili 
Stew (hosted every year by al-barran).  some cookies with 
choc chips and others with a medley of dried cranberries, 
cherries and currants (okay... biddy-biddy raisins but the 
box said currents).

made bread

i think i like to bake most when it is cold.   using the 
oven for food and heating the house at the same time. 
 guess it's that handed down depression mentality.
