[Sca-cooks] Top 20 Multiuse Herbs and Spices plus Salt

Most of my top 20 herbs grow in my garden. They are: Thyme, Lemon
Thyme, Rosemary, Sage, Tarragon, Savory (Winter), Dill, Fennel,
Marjoram, Sweet Basil, Spicy Basil, Lemon Basil, Red Basil, Cayenne
Pepper, Lavendar, Chives, Cilantro, Mint and Parsley. If garlic and
onion are herbs, they go in there. Then I must add my top choice for
spices: Saffron, Tumeric, Ginger, Nutmeg, Cinnamon, Clove, Cardamom,
Pepper, Cumin, mustard, and Fenugreek.
I am sorry, I tend to use variety of the same herbs. I keep dried
Summer Savory, Anise, Allspice, Bay Leaves, Juniper Berries, Grains
of Paradise, and Galangale in my cabinet as well. When I cook, I
tend to experiment with flavors. FYI, I recently discovered the
interesting flavor of Nasturtium, which also is growing in my garden.
