thanks to this list, i was able to do a wonderful scroll 
for a dear friend's student when she was given her laurel. 
 after a crack i made about my scroll going to pennsic 
instead of me, i connected with kiri off list, who just so 
happened to be the out of kingdom mentor to my friend's 
student.  she was a huge help in personalizing a scroll 
for someone i didin't know.

it's amazing what can happen with the occasional non-food 
remark! ;)
