Our Barony used to have a shed. And then the people who owned the yard in 
which the shed resided, kind of left the SCA, in less than positive 
circumstances. Eventually when things were reclaimed, there was another 
shed in another yard, and collecting things was complicated. Then they 
separated and moved, and now we have a storage unit and a quartermaster. 
You still have to coordinate with the quartermaster on collecting stuff 
and putting away stuff, but things are signed in and out, and occasionally 
more things are bought (with Baronial funds) to replace old and icky 
things.

We have cooking and serving equipment, four roasters, list field setup 
equipment, candleabras, and probably a bunch of other event-holding stuff 
like signs, archery targets, etc., that I'm not remembering. Usually, it 
works, although sometimes you'll get a quartermaster who is not up to the 
challenge.
