[Sca-cooks] Current farm prices and affects on feast budgeting

Actually, it's not the cuisines that are weird for me, but rather, given the
area where we live, they tend to want weird ingredients...things we just
can't find here.  Yes, we do have an edge when it comes to fresh fish...but
things like jujube dates, sansho pepper, mastic, pomegranite syrup, etc. are
just not available here, so I either have to travel a fair distance to find
them (an hour and half or more) or order them online.  And they really are a
little more expensive than normal ingredients that can be found at your
local Safeway or Food Lion.  And generally, they can't be found at discount
places like Restaurant Depot.  At least not here!
