[Sca-cooks] OOP but Not OT - freezing buttermilk

I don't usually go through fluid dairy products very quickly, and am quite 
used to freezing milk or half-and-half in one-cup jars for later use.  Can 
I do the same with buttermilk and still have something that can be used, 
say, for biscuits or scones after it's been thawed?
