Once upon a time I had a recipe for something called “Chicken with Mushrooms” or similar.  It featured chicken, mushrooms, carrots, celery, onion and barley and a series of spices the names of which elude me. 
What is wanted here is the documentation and I can not, for the worth of me, recall where I got the recipe.  I have thoroughly perused my available source books and can not find anything.
Does this ring a bell for anyone?
