[Sca-cooks] Mawlid, medieval foods

For Mawlid, the birthday celebration of the Prophet Muhamad and the 12 
days leading up to it, beside asida, what other dishes were eaten during 
the Middle Ages in Moorish Spain beside asida (basically a semolina 
porridge)? I am not talking about today's Afghan buffets. By the way 
Mawlid will be celebrated on 20 March this year - celebrations start on 
the 8th.
