embarrassed admission - i just learned to drive a year and 
a half ago at the ripe old age of 54.  connor and i have 
found the newbie/less experienced doing the rural 
interstate and the experienced do the cities works well

we often 'both drive' in bad weather and known wildlife 
areas.  i watch the side of the road or try to see the 
side of the road in the blizzard and he concentrates on 
the idiots speeding past us. ;)
