Actually, manufacturers of food and drink are required, at least in the US,
to list ingredients.  As I'm a diabetic as well, I always check these to
make sure that there isn't a large quantity of sugar or similar products in
whatever it is.  I also learned, early on, that most fruit juices are off
limits as they are very high in natural sugars.  And it would seem to me
that high energy drinks like Red Bull would be high in sugar as well.  So I
generally avoid fruit juices altogether.  A fruit juice may not have any
added sugar, but they are high in natural sugars...with no fiber to counter
the effects of the sugar.

So I'd suggest you avoid most, if not all fruit juices (V-8 or tomato juice
appears to be the rare exception) just on general principles....
