These are US record prices here.
The price last year at this time was $3.114. That's more than a dollar
cheaper than  what we are seeing here.
I suspect that there will be a number of people having to downsize their 
vehicles
and quit hauling extensive amounts of SCA gear around in the future, if 
they continue
to attend events at all. Or attend one event per season and not 3-4 per 
month.
